As COVID-19 has impacted business as usual, food and agriculture companies are turning to e-commerce to grow international sales. Food Export-Midwest, a non-profit organization that promotes the export of food and agricultural products from the Midwestern region of the United States, and Alibaba.com, the largest international B2B e-commerce platform, have partnered to provide food and agriculture suppliers an opportunity to sell their products on a global ecommerce platform, by covering the onboarding fee for eligible companies to sell on Alibaba (valued at $2,000). Made possible through the Agricultural Trade Promotion (ATP) program, this offer is available for a limited time on a first-come-first-serve basis.
