Cuddling cute baby animals is just another day at work for Penguin's Romaya Gilbert.
At age 8 she has started a pet minding business so she can walk that dog, feed that cat , 'scoop that poop' – play with cheeky-monkey puppies and cuddle ducklings!
Great work if you can get it.
Romaya’s mum Janelle gets her to the gigs and the client base has now expanded across four towns.
Romaya’s love for animals goes way beyond the cute and furry too.
She spends some of her pet minding money on VIP access at the local wildlife park, enabling her to hold the snakes and lizards.
When she’s not minding pets, she’s drawing, painting or writing about them.
Not surprisingly, this motivated grade 2 student at Penguin District School wants to grow up to be a vet.
