Why LinkedIn is Important?

• If you have relevant connections and use LinkedIn in a right way, then recruiters will reach out to you.

• Update your profile often (Even if it's unrelated to your career and it is fine)

• It's a professional social media and recruiting managers don't care if you like watching Netflix or not (Just saying: LinkedIn is not Instagram).

• There are some keywords that needs to be added in your profile. It will optimize your profile for the recruiters.

• Look at your profile from recruiter's perspective and make respective changes if needed.

• Make sure you DM properly and in a professional way. Recruiters are unfortunately not your "frnd".

• Write things that you think is relevant to them based upon your niche.

• You can post participation certificates as well. Just to show the recruiter that you are actively involved in your domain.

• Remember, you are showing off your works for the purpose of your own growth and it needs to be done
