What's your why? What drives you to do what you do? Are you in the right race?

Most people know I used to race cars. I enjoyed the adrenaline rush but really loved the sense of purpose it gave me to be a part of that type of team. I always appreciated family time the day before the race though, because I know what kind of risks are involved with racing -- serious injury or worse.

I remember looking at my wife's face the day before a race and seeing the worry and fear in her eyes. I hated making her feel that way and decided to stop racing cars. But, I did stop racing.

Instead, I created a new business where I could get the same sense of significance, accomplishment, and community. I created a business being the resource I wish I had when I was running my digital agency. I created a different kind of race, for myself, with no regrets.
