Ask Us A Question: https://fleamarketflipper.com/question/
In March we had over $19,500 in sales with just six items. It was a great month! Let’s dive into March’s numbers; this was our best month for 2023.
We’ve been doing these income reports since 2015 and we try to do them monthly to help people see what is actually profitable and selling. Doing these reports motivated us to keep going even when we wanted to quit because nobody was coming to our blog. We want to show you what we’re doing in our business so resellers know what is possible and don’t give up.
Item # 1 & 2 – Stryker Stretcher
This is the third month straight that we have been able to create some good income off those Stryker stretchers. I bought 12 from one of our contacts.
The guy who bought this, right after he bought it, he wrote me and asked if I had a second one. I ended up getting them bundled and shipped together. I gave him a little bit of a break on the second one. We’ll deduct sales tax at the end because eBay collects it and remits it.
Sale: $3,638 + $3,426 = $7,064 total
COGS: $366 total
eBay fees: $353 + $331= $684 total
Shipping: $190 total
Total Profit: $2,912 each, $5,824 total

Item #3 – Computer Component
I got this from one of my contacts and didn’t pay anything for it. It’s a very tiny computer board that came out of an expensive computer; this is the fifth or sixth that I’ve sold. This went global shipping and eBay handles all of that. You just ship it to their hub and they take care of customs and the paperwork to get it to the buyer.
Sale: $269
COGS: $0
eBay Fees: $29
Shipping: $14
Total Profit: $226

Item #4 – The VCR
A lot of people do not think that retro stuff will sell. I bought this from Goodwill and it had a remote with it but it was missing the battery cover on the remote. I disclosed that on the listing. This was a VCR/DVD combo unit from the 90s.
Sold: $214
COGS: $10
eBay Fees: $24
Shipping: $30
Total Profit: $150

Item #5 – TurboChef
This is the third TurboChef we’ve sold and it went on a pallet. It weighed about 300 pounds but we were able to move it using a dolly and tools to make it work without having to pick it up.
Sale: $6,625
COGS: $150
eBay Fees: $671
Shipping: $125
Total Profit: $5,679

Item # 6 – Stryker Stretcher
This was another stretcher but this one had extra straps that go over the stretcher. I threw in a couple extras with this one and listed it at a higher price just hoping somebody would take me up on it.

COGS: $183
eBay Fees: $485

Total Profit: $4,592
These were a great buy. We bought 12 stretchers earlier this year and have cleared probably over $40,000 with those alone.
