Being an entrepreneur is not just about selling products.
According to Marc Randolph, co-founder and the first CEO of Netflix, a big part of entrepreneurship is convincing people to believe in you.
To believe in your vision before you even create it.
And that’s not to say that every idea you have is going to be successful.
Entrepreneurship requires a lot of practice.
And with practice, comes failure.
Marc didn’t become successful overnight. What made him successful was his mindset even when he was a kid.
He was always trying to invent things and solve problems. Those little things he did prepared him for the biggest stage of his life.
When he invented Netflix, it was so ahead of its time that the technology required to make it happen didn’t exist yet. They had to wait for the right moment before it came to life.
