Every year, as Amazon India goes live with its 'Prime Day' sale for 24 hours, the surge in online orders – and the extra workload on warehouse workers – are a given. But workers find it difficult to manage the workload and meet their 'targets' even on a daily basis. A recent survey has found that four out of five Amazon workers report that the 'targets' set for them by the e-commerce giant are 'very difficult' to achieve. Although Amazon refuted these allegations, The Quint met with several warehouse workers in Haryana's Manesar who, too, highlighted the high level of stress and pressure that they undergo on a daily basis.
