Fashion entrepreneur Datin Vivy Yusof and her husband today said they will relinquish their positions in e-commerce platform FashionValet Sdn Bhd.
In a joint Instagram statement, the couple cited the recent sale of shares by key stakeholders, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) and Khazanah Nasional Bhd, as influencing their decision to step down.
The move was also done to prevent the ongoing issues from further affecting the company, which is currently in the process of a turnaround.
“We take full responsibility for the failure of the investment,” they stated.
