You're about to see this guy lose $3 million over 1 tweet
1 year ago, the founder of Twitter auctioned the NFT for his first tweet.
When crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi saw this, he put in an offer that made him world-famous. He bought the tweet for $2.9 million.
But until recently we haven't heard much from him. 2 months after the sale, the Iranian authorities arrested him for his work in crypto.
A couple of weeks ago he reemerged, listing the tweet on OpenSea for $48 million. But he also added that not everyone deserves this NFT because it is the "Mona Lisa of the digital world".
So even if someone was willing to pay $50 million he might not have sold it to them. Lucky for him, no one lowballed him with $50 million.
After 1 week of putting the tweet up for auction, he received 7 bids. The bids range from $300 to $6 dollars!
While this tragic story has attracted some more bidders, right now, the highest bid is at $14k. So
