[TiME SLiP] 1712 - Troyes, France - Traditional Candle Workshop

[Hello and welcome! This is the first of many episodes of my historical guessing game TiME SLiP - Spot The Anachronism!]

In 1712, the French town of Troyes stood at the crossroads of trade and craft. Known for its thriving guilds and bustling artisan quarters, it was a hub for everyday makers, including candlemakers who supplied homes, taverns, and churches with light.

This episode enters one such workshop. Wicks are braided by hand. Wax simmers over an open hearth. The shelves drip with freshly dipped tapers, ready for market.
But one object does not belong. Can you find it?
