In this podcast, we are introducing you to a 20-year-old young trader Akshat Mahajan from Delhi who heard about the stock market at the age of 8 when he was bedridden due to illness. He used to watch business news channels and from there got knowhow of companies, their shares and how price move.

At the age of 14, he got interested in mutual funds and even had a Youtube channel at a young age. He started investing ₹2000 in SIPs each month and continued for this about 1 and a half years. After that, he got into the stock market learning and decided that he will play this game for the long term say for 30 years and when host Aseem Juneja asked him how a child of age 15 years can have such thought and mentality, he said 'it could due to this natural trait of patience he has.'

At present, he is also doing a Bachelor of Commerce, content creation related to the stock market on Youtube and other social media. He gives credit for success to his parents and brother who supported him since the start of his journey in the stock market.

After completion of the 12th class, he thought of getting into trading as he had enough capital accumulated through investment in mutual funds and content creation, he started trading with option buying but suffered losses because of wrong or no strategy at all and within two months he realized the same and he stopped option buying.

Then he got into futures trading because he has natural patience and capital too. More often we are told that future trading is a sure-shot way to lose capital but was successful because he treats futures as cash trading and he learned this psychology from stock market psychologist Sunil Minglani. He used to watch his videos for 8 hours a day.
