One of the questions I've gotten recently is, should I do LinkedIn video? And if so, what's the best way to do it? Right now, LinkedIn really wants video, so the algorithm is heavily favoring video content. It's just getting so much exposure. So, absolutely, yes, be doing video on LinkedIn.
Post to your personal profile if you are a thought leader, a business leader, or in sales. You can't advertise to personal profiles. So that's a great place for short form videos like this that are pre recorded and that are really a chance for you to personally relay your message, something they can see while they're scrolling. Be concise and add captions.
If you want to do some kind of a podcast or vodcast for your company, you could do it on a LinkedIn page, but you really want to be getting your audience for that from your mailing list since you will not draw many people from LinkedIn, at least not initially.
The real goal in LinkedIn is in making connections with other people, and the best way to do that is with short videos on your profile, not your business page.
