As part of Priory Direct's community support and volunteering we give lectures at our Local universities and schools to raise awareness of the opportunities and challenges within Ecommerce. This is a recording of a lecture given by our Managing Director Josh Pitman to the 3rd year logistics and supply chain students at the university of Kent, it highlights the size of the UK ecommerce market, it's predicted growth trajectory, the major logistical and sustainability challenges associated with the downstream logistics and some of the most promising ideas and areas available for reducing the carbon footprint and environmental impact of this key aspect of the ecommerce supply chain.
