Vitor Magalhães describes in this talk part of his journey, using his huge experience, from the time of pioneering the "Internet" in Portugal, to the current Byside, to leave notes that allow future entrepreneurs to be better. Born in Porto, Vítor holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. was part of
first Internet operator in Portugal, the PUUG (Portuguese Unix User Group), where it arrived
to be responsible for managing the approximately 200 people who, at the time, were connected to the Internet in Portugal. He created the first Portugal Telecom website and was founder of the first Voice over Internet operator in Portugal, Netcall, a company that in 2005 had an investment of 1.8M Euros. Thanks to his entrepreneurial spirit, Vítor Magalhães became a co-founder of @byside.leadactivation in 2006, the company where he is currently CEO. BySide is a Digital Marketing company that helps big brands to listen and get to know their customers on digital channels.
