Nicole Cordero has worked for ten years in the private sector specifically, in the tourism, travel, accommodations, and marketing fields. When the pandemic hit last march 2020, she started her journey as a trainee of DICT VC2 for SMM for SMEs. This was followed by training under MC2 for the Virtual Assistant Course. Then, LC3 for Web Development Course. Finally, Training for Trainers under Virtual Assistant and Social Media Management Course.
Currently, working as a resource trainer in Mindanao for the DICT's Digital Jobs PH to provide lectures on social media management, virtual assistant, and Online Freelancing. As an online professional, Nicole work on a variety of projects for various clients. Each project adds something new to the table and allows her to expand her skill set. As she went along, Nicole discovered new things. She felt stagnant in her traditional full-time job because it did not require continuous learning and development. Nicole had more opportunities for advancement as she worked on a broader range of project types.
As a business owner herself, she has owned various startups since 2010 up to the present in industries related to technology, web development services, fashion, and accessories - an avenue to apply her learnings in social media management, web design and development, and e-commerce.
