Facebook owns Instagram and they just came out with their own copycat of Tik Tok. Tik Tok is facing a lot of heat right now with President Trump writing an executitve order to basically ban Tik Tok (and WeChat) by the end of September if it is not bought out by a US company.

And Instagram took advantage of this situation to come out with their own Tik Tok feature on Instagram because of this.

I think this is going to be a game changer for anyone selling online, especially as an Amazon FBA Seller. Facebook/Instagram is slowly trying to become a powerhouse in every industry, and I think they are primarily trying to take marketshare away from Amazon to become a big player in the space of eCommerce.

Instagram added swipe up features to make it easier for advertiser to sell their items. They also added a shopping tab on their discover page.

I know think this will add to their growing power in eCommerce and I think Amazon FBA sellers better get to it quick.
