How to Start a Money Making Blog for FREE with WordPress, Affiliate Marketing, and More

Do you want to start your own money making blog? In this video I explain how you can do this for free using Wordpress and WooCommerce. Blogging is a lot of fun to do and at the same time can be a money generator. I explain step by step how you choose a niche and an SEO friendly URL for your blog.

There are three ways how you can generate income with your blog. The first is completely free, by adding links from your WordPress blog to affiliate deals. These are products or services from other companies or entrepreneurs that you can drive traffic to from your blog site. If those visitors buy something from your affiliate partner, you earn a commission. This is the basis of a lot of my income in my online business.

Another way how to generate money is by selling your own products or services from your free blog. If you don't have any, you can simply create your free account with sites such as Fiverr. Or you can offer pre-made quality digital products from sites such as AdvancedPLR.com, where you buy the rights to resell products.

A third way how to generate income from a blog is by adding a professional membership module to your sites, and offer exclusive content to paying members. This membership module is included in the premium tools I use for my online business. This option is not free though, but very low cost compared to what you can earn with your blog.

I end the video with a bonus expert tip about how you can repurpose your video content from YouTube or TikTok (and other short form video platforms) or any other content by using your transcript to quickly create a new blog post by using templates from the exact same set of plugins I use. Note that this set of tools and plugins is not free but fully optional.
