With Black Friday approaching quickly, it is important to plan ahead and get your store ready for the upcoming sales opportunities.
An easy way to find out what is selling is to do a simple Google search. We do this on the video and found a few great deals that are selling. We can see a bunch of electronics selling etc.

After that, you can go to Zik Analytics and use the product research tool to search by the categories you see that sold well.

In Zik, you simply enter in a popular brand into the tool to get an idea of products that are selling well and that you can make a profit out of.

We want to find the successful sellers and look at their profitable products to get more ideas for our store.

The key is to stay organised, and make a list of these products on excel or word.

We use ZIK to find sellers that are using particular suppliers such as Walmart so that we can look at all of their popular products that we can snipe. We use the ‘scan seller’ function on ZIK which gives us all of this information.

The next step is to get your store ready.
One great strategy is to plan ahead and start listing your product at a cheaper price prior to the holiday period. The aim here is to get your sales velocity up so that you can start ranking your product in time for the holiday rush.


Step 3: Promote your store on eBay
You can do this by making special promotions for these days. We suggest making the promotion the day before Black Friday and end it the day after cyber monday.

When using promoted listings, we suggest keeping your rate between 2.5 and 3%.
