Hi, in this video I will should you how to fix your wordpress site if you get an ion cube loader error when tying to open you wordpress site. I got this error since I was using a link tracking application that has outdated code. This error can also be caused by conflicts with plugins and other things. It is a simple fix if you use siteground web hosting since it only requires you to create a php.ini file in your websites root directory and add one line of code. The code is: zend_extension=/usr/local/php74/lib/php/extensions/ioncube.so
Make sure to watch the video for more details. Also after I made the video I also noticed that I needed to also make an identical php.ini file and add it in the wp-admin directory so I could log in to the back end of wordpress without getting the same error. I hope this video is helpful to anyone who had a similar problem.
Also not that the "php74" part of the code line above needs to match the version of php you are using for your wordpress site. I explain this in detail in the video.

On this channel we have tutorials for getting started with wordpress and more advanced wordpress setup like making wordpress ecommerce stores and using and configuring plugins like Elementor Pro, Divi, Beaver Builder, WP Bakery and Visual Composer. We also have videos about using and selecting themes. Other advanced topics are covered using CSS, HTML, PHP and Javascript. To get setup with wordpress, you will need wordpress hosting for you site and also a domain name. There are many hosting companies you can use and I have videos comparing several top hosting companies and how to get a good domain for you site. Many of the wordpress plugins are free but most offer a paid version for more functionality. I use a mix of free and paid plugins for my wordpress sites. For my
ecommerce wordpress site I use the Flatsome theme since it has a few things I like that make building a wordpress ecommmerce site easy. Make sure to follow and click the notification bell to get updates of all my new videos since I will keep adding more on a regular basis to help you on your wordpress journey!
