How to Create an eCommerce Website with WordPress – 2022

Here we have used Astra wordpress theme to setup ecommerce website

click the ‘Get Hosting & Domain’ button.
Now click ‘Get Started’ & choose a plan
Next enter your domain name and click ‘Next’
Now fill up the details, and select the period of your hosting
Enter the payment details & click ‘Submit’.

Step 3. Create an account on bluehost.
Click ‘Create Your Account’, & create a password
Now login to your bluehost account with your domain name & password.

Step 4. Install WordPress
Now just click ‘skip’
Go to bluehost dashboard and click ‘Login with WordPress’
And click ‘Launch your site’.

Part 2 : Customizing your default WordPress site into a Professional Website

Step 1: Import a design.
Go to WordPress Dashboard ► Appearance ► Themes ► Add New Theme
Choose a theme
We recommend ‘Astra’
now click ‘Install’ & ‘Activate’.
Now install a page builder
We recommend “Elementor”
choose a design and import it to your site.

Step 2: Edit the content.
To edit any page of your site, just click ‘Edit with Elementor’.
Now you can edit & add content on that page.
click ‘Update’ to save it.
To change the logo or menu section, click the ‘Customize’ option.
To create a new page,
Go to WordPress Dashboard ► Pages ► Add New
Use elements like text, image, video etc just by drag & drop.
you can also use blocks by importing it.
or import Page templates & start customizing.
visit your website on mobile, you can see it is optimized for mobile view.
