Jeff Mata is a San Diego born and raised motivational speaker, athlete, serial entrepreneur, and business professional.

Faced with a complete loss of sight 12 years ago, he has accomplished more than one could imagine.

Jeff graduated from California State University San Marcos with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration. His mission is to inspire and motivate people facing life’s challenges in order to instill hope and empower against fear. Jeff is the president and founder of Matavation; he is also the co-founder of Haabu Inc.

Not only does he empower one through speaking, but Jeff is an established athlete in the Sport Jiu Jitsu International Federation. He is a three-time World Gold Medalist and continues to train and compete in Jiu Jitsu.

His journey in a fast-paced world with lack of perception has inspired a countless number of individuals and he is just getting started.
