As small businesses around the world transition to increased online sales, questions around Duda's eCommerce offering have exploded. In this roundtable discussion, our eCommerce experts address some of the most common questions we've seen, as well as field questions from the audience.

As small businesses around the world transition to a digital-first approach, the impact of COVID-19 on eCommerce has made itself known. With nearly 95% of the U.S. population affected by shelter-in-place orders, COVID-19 has pushed many of the long-emerging eCommerce trends into a rapid growth stage. Unsurprisingly, this has prompted quite a few questions from our partners about Duda’s eCommerce options and how they can be used to help small businesses mitigate the damage from COVID-19.

FAQs Related to Duda’s eCommerce Options
Prior to the webinar, Duda’s support team pulled together a list of the most common questions they had received related to eCommerce and COVID-19. Our hosts addressed each of these during the webinar and a brief summary the questions and answers they addressed can be found below.

Duda is offering a free eCommerce plan throughout April and May that will remain free until the end of 2020. What if PayPal isn’t working on Duda’s Special Offer store for COVID-19?
The Special Offer does not include PayPal, but does include Square and Stripe payment methods. For more information, see this Online Payments article in Duda’s Support portal.

How do you activate the Special Offer store?
Duda’s Special Offer store offer has actually replaced the base-level or demo store on Duda sites. On any site without a store, simply click ‘eCommerce’ in the left panel and click ‘Add to site’ on the free special offer store plan.

What does the Special Offer store cost after 2020?
The Special Offer store is free until December, 2020. You will be notified by email to upgrade your store to any plan that fits your requirements. For more information, see the Resource Center.

What is the equivalent paid store version of a Duda special offer store?
A basic Duda eCommerce store will have roughly the same features as the special store with a few caveats. However, the basic store only allows up to 100 products.

Do Duda partners need to work with an external partner to provide shipping labels?
To provide shipping labels, you can install third-party applications from the Store Control Panel (such as ShipStation version 2) or add Zapier to your store to sync with Shippo.

How do you limit the number of times an e-good download link can be used?
To limit the number of times an e-good or download link is used, in the left panel, click ‘eCommerce,’ and then click ‘Manage Store.’ Click ‘General,’ and then click ‘Cart & Checkout.’ Scroll to the E-goods section and configure the number of downloads or an expiration date for the link. How do you set a minimum purchase quantity for a specific product?
Currently, there is no built-in way to set a minimum purchase quantity for a specific product. However, to add a minimum or maximum order subtotal, go to the Store Control Panel, click ‘Settings,’ and then click ‘Cart & Checkout.’ Set the minimum or maximum allowed order subtotal. If it is crucial to set a limit on a specific product, you can add the Purchase Quantity app in the Store Control Panel.

How can I set discounts in the store?
Discount coupons are one the most important tools in a small businesses tool box to generate business right now. Go to the Store Control Panel, click Marketing, and then click Discount Coupons. For more information, see Discount Coupons.
