This is part 3 of our eCommerce Marketing Automation where I dive into automating Pinterest (for free, by the way). This one is longer because I also cover some potential challenges and ideas on how to solve or prevent those challenges.
The two methods are to connect your website to the Pinterest Merchant Verification Program and then to connect your RSS feed. To help identify challenges and overcome issues, I created a brand new website and connected it to an existing Pinterest account.
I ran into 3 problems that I was able to overcome. One was my error and was easy to fix and the other 2 are commonly reported challenges. If you've ever had these errors, I talk about how I fixed them for my new website:
Merchant's returns policy is unclear or unavailable
Merchant's domain does not meet brand information requirements
I use WordPress with WooCommerce, but I also discuss these challenges for Shopify and other platforms and what I think is going on (plus, some potential tips on how to fix it).
I learned a lot in the process and even with a lengthy video, did not cover all of the potential areas I identified as potential issues. So, if you have questions, issues, or just want to share what worked for you - please leave a comment or hop into the Facebook group.
