Scobie is no longer the ‘royal executive editor’ of Yahoo! News, the website that gave him a platform to launch regular attacks on the Royal Family.
A notice on the news website refers to Scobie’s role in the past tense. ‘He was Yahoo! News UK’s royal executive editor from 2022-23,’ it says.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's cheerleader Omid Scobie today announced he will release a new book on the monarchy on November 21.
The author's previous title, Finding Freedom, covered the Duke and Duchess of Sussexes' decision to step down as senior royals.
Revealing the publication date today, Scobie said his new book would be a 'penetrating investigation' about the Royal Family's 'fight for survival'.

The Duchess of Sussex has apologised for misleading the courts over her recollection of the information given by her aides to the writer of an unauthorised biography about her and her husband.
In a written apology Meghan Markle admitted her PR chief was told to brief Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, the authors of Finding Freedom, despite a public statement last summer that insisted she and Prince Harry “did not contribute” to the book. Meghan claimed in court submissions on Wednesday the oversight was accidental.
