PRODUCT RESEARCH METHODS
1. Negative Search Method
Go to Amazon Search Bar, Type anything, any letter, and see autocomplete of Amazon. This shows what people usually search for and if people search for it then probably they want to buy it too.
For Example Write Stainless, Glass A, Desk S, Bath B, Baby (Rest the Amazon will auto-complete)
2. Category Based Auto Suggest Method
Go to the Best Seller section of Amazon and look through the best sellers. Most of the products shown in the Best Seller section are competitive. So go through categories, and sub-categories until you find an idea.
Click on the best seller, AMZ will show different products, select the category, Run Js Extension and pick any product which seems good as per the criteria.
Copy the ASIN of the product, Paste in Js (Keyword Scout) or Helium 10 (Keyword Research------Cerebro), and apply filter (SV High to Low)
Select the product and match the Enablers Criteria.
3. Review Search Method
Look at any product on Amazon (Ice Cream Scoop), and go through their reviews. Click on the reviewer’s name and you can see every product they have ever reviewed. You can find ideas here too.
Copy ASIN of the product, paste in Cerebro (Apply filter of SV) and click on Get Keywords
4. Keyword Lookup Method:
The easiest way to find an idea is by using a web app or software (JS/ Helium10 Black Box), Clicking on Keywords, Simply applying filters (SV, Word Count 2 to 4, sizes, category, etc), and choosing your market.
Copy any product, paste in Amazon Search Bar, Run the Jungle Scout Extension and match the criteria of enablers.
Another way is to Open Black Box, select the option of Products, and apply filters (Category, Revenue). Select any product from the searches, if you want to know the keyword of that selected product, copy the ASIN and paste it into Cerebro (Get Keywords). Sort SV by High to Low
5. Deal Search Method
Go through deal websites.
Check out Rebatekey or just any facebook deals page. Find an idea from there.
6. Store Raider Search Method
GO to the best seller section, select category and product, Click on that brand and see what other products, he is selling. Find an idea form here too.
Best Sellers, Select a category, click on the seller's name and check what other products he is selling.
