Raymond Albert Kroc was born in Oak Park, Illinois, United States, on the 5th of Oct., 1902. His biological parents, Alois Louis Kroc and Rosemary were Czech-Americans who lived in Illinois, not too far from Chicago.
From his childhood, until he became a young adult, Raymond resided within Oak Park, not travelling to other cities or making acquaintances. While growing up, his parents were never poor, yet he was always eager to work and wished he could get paid employment. He didn't care much about school, so he dropped out to seek a job.
