(1) Four years ago when I wanted to write a book, I didn't really think that the process could be so easy. I thought I needed a publisher and an army of proofreaders. I thought I would spend a couple of years writing and then figuring out the whole process. Then, after talking with people who had gone through this process, I ended up realizing I don't really need to write a huge book, I can just create some kind of a manual about the topic I'm interested in and about the topic, I'm an expert in.

You need to realize what's your area of expertise. Maybe you are a great salesperson and can create a workbook of TOP 20 selling emails, for example. Even if you have a huge audience of people who trust you, you need to give people more than they expect from you because this way they're gonna come back for more products from you.

(2) When I wrote everything down, I hired a proofreader. You need this kind of person to check that your text has no typos. You can hire a proofreader through Upwork, Freelance, etc.

(3) The next thing that I would do is hire a designer who would help create a layout for your workbook, checklist, or book. The reason I like online products is that you can be very creative with whatever you put in your product. You can add a lot of images, graphs, etc.

(4) Next, you need to choose a good domain name. If you don't have a brand name yet, if you don't have your strong personal brand, it's really important that the domain name speaks for itself.

(5) The next step is to find a platform that would help you automate the whole sales process. You can use Ecwid, Wix, or Payhip.

(6) You need to create demand for your online product and that means launching ads. If you are not an influencer, your add should have some value. For example, you can invite people to your free webinar where you'll be selling your online product.
