How to turn your eBay store in to an official business

If you are company selling on eBay, and you have go up your eBay store, it might be a good time to start thinking about turning your eBay store into an official business. I have built multiple different eBay stores and turn them into legal legitimate official businesses, using the steps laid out in this video.

What are the first things that I try and do with my eBay stores to make sure that I open up a business bank account as soon as possible, this is because it will be easier when it comes to managing all of the money that is moving in and out of my eBay business in a more efficient way.

One of the next things that you should do if you are a new eBay seller and you have built up your eBay store, is to make sure that you register a domain name for the same name as your eBay store. This is something that you should do as soon as possible, you should try and secure a domain as soon as you start selling on eBay in a professional way.

Once you're certain that your eBay business is bringing in consistent cells, the next thing that you should start thinking about is registering your business as a limited company if you're based in the UK, and not only that also register as an employer, once you are starting to think about employing yourself and someone else, so that you're able to pay salaries out.

And finally you should also consider registering your eBay store name and logo as a trademark so that someone else cannot use it. Be aware that this is something that you should do in the later stages of your eBay selling journey, and not necessarily something you should think about in the early stages, this is because it does cost quite a bit, but it's definitely something you should consider doing if you are thinking about building a real brand using eBay.
