In Part-211 of the Laravel E-commerce series, we will continue working on Return Order functionality like Amazon.
In this video, we will create the return request for the ordered product placed by the user.
1) Update orderReturn function :-
Update orderReturn function in which we will add a return request for the ordered product placed by the user.
We will also update the orders_products table with the item_status column in which we will add the 'Return Initiated' value when the user placed the return request. We are doing this because we don't let the same product in return option again.
2) Update order_details.blade.php file:-
We will not show order items with the "Return Initiated" condition at the return modal located at the order_details.blade.php file. It means after the return request is made for one of the products, that product will not be shown in the return option.
In the next video, we will display the return requests in the admin panel from where the admin can able to approve or reject the request.
