Business Insider reports that RBC Capital Markets on Sunday updated its Amazon price target to $3,300 from $2,700. The new target — the highest on Wall Street — is about 33% higher than Amazon shares at Friday's close.

This upgrade came after RBC’s annual US shopping survey which showed that this year, 64% of Amazon customers made two or three purchases a month, up from 54% in 2019.

Prime subscriptions have surged to 67% from 59% this time last year, putting Amazon on track towards 200 million subscriptions worldwide, up from 150 million in January.

Marketplace Pulse reports that eBay saw its total sales dollar value for products sold grow more in the first quarter this year than during the last four years.

Walmart.com web traffic grew at an even faster pace than Amazon: a 55% increase in April compared to February, while Amazon only grew 15%.

We reported previously that Etsy sales increased by 100% in April. In May, that growth was 140%.

In our Facebook groups, we’ve counted 200 threads with questions/issues about two things: problems with creating new listings due to UPCs, and the Brand 5665 Error on Amazon. The Brand 5665 error appears when you try to create a new listing for a brand for which you’re not Brand Registered.
