2 Reasons why your Friends are NOT Supporting your Business

When you leave your job to start your business, one of the things that you will complain about is the lack of support of your friends and the people that you are connected to online.

It starts like this. You leave your job and start your business, so you announce it on LinkedIn, Facebook, or Instagram, and then you get a lot of engagement, and a lot of people wish you luck.

A few days later, you share your first post as a business owner, and it gets also good engagement.
3 or 4 posts later and the engagement goes down. Not only this, but you also start seeing that no one wants to support you and your business by resharing any of your posts, products, or services, or via buying your products or services.

And suddenly, you start asking yourself golden questions ‘’Why my friend x didn’t share my post? And why didn’t my friend y buy my product? I know that he is so much interested in products similar to what I am selling. And why didn’t my friend z interact with my post? Why aren’t they doing anything? Aren’t they supposed to support me and my business? I am their friend.’’
